The brain is a complex network of connections, comprising of millions of cells called neurons constantly communicating with one another through electro-chemical pulses. It is a proven fact that when a person communicates through speech, only 15-20% of brain cells or neurons are in an active state, however, while communicating through writing, a person activates almost 85-90% of neurons. Thus, the work of a Graphologist is to understand psychological patterns embedded in a person’s handwriting. Graphology is based on this basic principle, that every individual has a unique personality, and this uniqueness is showcased in the form of his handwriting. A Graphologist seeks to decipher this psychological code by studying elements like Margin, Font size, Slants, Pressure, Connection patterns, zones and legibility in writing.
